In 2019, the fashion model and the NFL star began dating each other.
Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo have announced their engagement.
On Friday, the model made a statement through her Instagram account. In the picture, the top player for the San Francisco 49ers is shown kneeling down, while Culpo can be seen holding her hands to her face with what appears to be a shocked expression.
After dating for close to four years, the couple recently announced that they are engaged.
During the couple’s vacation in Utah, McCaffrey presented his fiancee with an engagement ring created by Ring Concierge (only with a dog of the couple, Oliver Sprinkles, standing by!). The ring that Culpo wears is a two-tone design made of yellow platinum and gold, and it features an oval shape with three stones set in a noiseless setting.
Nicole Wegman, CEO and founder of Ring Concierge, shared that the company collaborated with Christian to carefully create a ring that embodied Olivia’s style while still being timeless. The ring featured a gorgeously cut oval that was flanked with lapel side crystals in a handmade platinum and gold setting.
The first time that McCaffrey and Culpo were linked romantically was in May 2019, after McCaffrey liked an Instagram photo that Culpo had shared. After a few months, photographs were taken of the couple when they were on vacation in Mexico together.
Culpo, who is now 30, admitted to Entertainment Tonight in November of last year that she would willing to break the rule of not dating sportsmen again after her prior unsuccessful relationships because she felt that McCaffrey was different from the other athletes she had dated.
When asked about her boyfriend, McCaffrey, 26, she stated, “He is simply the best, I believe like he is truly all that anybody could ever wish for.” As a result, I don’t have to stress about anything. It’s not that I have anything against athletes; it’s just that there is a certain image associated with them, and I didn’t wish to be associated with that.
Culpo continued, Simply put, he comes from a wonderful family. In this regard, we share plenty of similarities. My sense is that you can learn a lot about a person from the people who raise them, and his parents are two of the most wonderful people in the world. They share a wonderful connection with one another.
Culpo revealed in an Instagram story that celebrated the couple’s third anniversary that the first time they met, they were introduced to each other by mutual friends. She stated that she was unsure whether or not she was interested in dating but that she had made the decision to do it nonetheless.
She said that she was very thankful for the voice within her that told her to show love another try. “I’m so glad for the voice.” You are indeed the yin to mine yang, and you exemplify the virtue of achieving power through humility. I want to say thank you for having been the rock that I can lean on and for renewing my trust in love. You are more than my wildest imagination could have ever hoped for.
Yet despite the fact that McCaffrey and Culpo are forced to spend some time apart during the NFL season, she has stated in the past that the foundation of their relationship is a strong faith.
She stated, “I think that each and every relationship can teach you something new about yourself, as well as I know that I have gained a level of appreciation for my current relationship that I never would have had if it weren’t for everything that has come before it. In other words, you have to be thankful for the challenging times in your life.”
Despite the physical separation that exists between them as a result of McCaffrey’s travels, Culpo continues to show his support for McCaffrey, who was acquired by the 49ers from either the Carolina Panthers in the fall of 2017. After the announcement that McCaffrey would really be relocating to the Western Coast, a former Miss Universe turned to Instagram to show her support for her boyfriend and his new endeavor.
In her post from October, she said, “This city captured my heart, and I’m never going to forget the moments or the people that made the last three and a half years so amazing.” I’m going to miss all of you so much, and I want you to know that you’ll always have particular importance to me. You make me incredibly proud, Christian. One of my greatest things in life is being able to witness the brilliance of others, and I couldn’t be more thrilled and appreciative to start this new chapter in California, the state that I’ve considered my home for the past eight years. Culpo, whom McCaffrey referred to as the perfect partner in a violent act in the comment section of the video, continued by jokingly thanking the airline staff on American Airlines from LAX to CLT who assisted her in getting through some distance with her guy. McCaffrey called Culpo the greatest partner in crime.
