According to reports, New York City Police has confirmed the explosion took place this morning at Port Authority Bus Terminal on 42nd Street, 8th Avenue.
According to law enforcement agencies, a device was exploded and they are not yet sure what was the reason for this explosion. But several people are injured in this explosion. The location of this explosion is very close to the famous Times Square, a spokesperson of New York Police Department has confirmed.
He was unable to comment on the size of the explosion or its origin. And according to latest reports, 22 were injured in this explosion.
The NYPD said using their twitter account that transit lines in the area were being evacuated.
