Facebook owned messaging android and iOS application will soon support the brand new live-location sharing feature through which one can knew the location of friends, it is Disable by default.
The popular messaging app will soon embed a new update of live-location sharing for its Android and iOS user that able to trace the live-location of other group participants if they manually enable the location sharing which is turned off by default.
The widely used WhatsApp is releasing back to back new features to ease and amuse the users. The new features embedded by the WhatsApp developers allow user to change the live-location sharing update to track the location as well as another improvement will be noticed in this app.
WhatsApp user will get a notification whenever friends change their status messages. All these features will be handed over to WhatsApp users through its beta version soon, according to WABetaInfo.
WABetaInfo has posted couple of screenshots on its official Twitter account which revealed that the 2.16.399+ Android and 2.17.3.28+ iOS users will able to use the new update. If screenshots is to be believed, the beta version of much popular messaging app for Android and WhatsApp will include live-location sharing option in group chat.
A new button of “Show My Friends” will be added in next beta version of WhatsApp which asks users to turn on live-location for 1 minute, for 2 minutes, for 5 minutes and enable the location-sharing indefinitely.
Although this is a new feature for Android users but iOS user is already enjoying this features in iMessage, in iMessage user can request and able to send location to another iMessage user in the same way like WhatsApp.
Previously, WhatsApp has amazed the fans with its Video Call feature which can be used by tapping the call icon and then selecting the video call option.
